Over the past few months, our engineering team has successfully delivered and commissioned a fully customized turnkey automation system for one of our Tier 1 automotive customers operating in the injection molding industry.
This project marks another important milestone in our ongoing partnership, with several additional projects already planned for the near future.
From initial concept design and software programming through mechanical construction and final commissioning, Dusser Group managed the entire project lifecycle. The delivered solution features a highly integrated robot cell connected directly to an injection molding machine. The system executes a complex sequence of operations including part handling, press-fit clipping, laser engraving, in-process verification, and variant-specific clip insertion — all within a single, controlled automation environment.
The automated cell is complemented by operator-assisted assembly stations. Semi-automatic tables equipped with pneumatic clamps and cylinders enable precise joining processes, while machined fixtures and guided assembly ensure accurate positioning. Automatic screwdriving systems with torque control further guarantee consistent fastening quality within a simple, operator-friendly setup.
The result is a production-ready manufacturing system engineered for repeatable quality, optimized cycle times, and scalable series production.
