Solving a 100-Meter Intralogistics Challenge.
Our latest project addresses a major logistical challenge: connecting four high-speed cartoning lines to a central palletizing zone located 100 meters across the facility, all without disrupting ground-floor operations.
To solve this, our team designed and is now installing an overhead transport highway. By lifting products 5 meters high via vertical conveyors, we are merging four production lanes into a high-level stream that travels across the factory floor, bypassing forklift traffic and daily operations below.
Key project highlights our team is delivering:
- Smart Verticality: Using stepped spirals for high-density buffering in a limited footprint.
- Dual-Robot Cell: Two robots capable of complex sandwich pallet layouts, using multi-pallet stacks with interlayer sheets.
- Built-in Redundancy: Integrating Intralox switches to allow redirection between existing lines and our new robot cell for maximum uptime.
- End-to-End Integration: We are managing the entire journey, starting with automated labelling and weight-checking at the cartoning machines, through 100 meters of overhead transport, all the way to robot palletizing, stretch wrapping, and final warehouse handover.
At Dusser Group, we take pride in delivering these complex, turnkey systems entirely in-house. From the first design draft to the final bolt on-site, our team is there every step of the way.
